Making a Lodgement
Lodgements can be made to your personal savings account, where permitted, as detailed below.
(a) Cheque or Draft
- Your Bankers cheque/draft should be made payable to the accountholder(s) and marked 'a/c payee only'.
- If you hold a joint account, cheques/drafts can be made payable to either or both account holders.
- Post your cheque/draft to our freepost address, or call in to any of our branches in Dublin, Cork, Galway, or Limerick.
OR
(b) Electronic Transfer
- You can instruct your bank to transfer funds by electronic transfer to your savings account. Please contact our Personal Savings Team on CallSave 1850 22 22 32 and we will give you the relevant details..
Making a Withdrawal
- Call our Personal Savings Team on CallSave1850 22 22 32 (8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).
- Electronic payments will only be made to your nominated bank account, as detailed by you on your application form.
- Cheques will only be made payable to the same name as the account holder.
- Please note that no withdrawal slips are required.
- No notice is required for withdrawals.

How to set up a standing order to make your monthly contributions
- Once we receive your completed application form and the correct identification documents, we will send you details of your account number.
- You will need to provide this to your bank to set up your monthly saving contributions. You should advise your bank 7 days prior to your specified commencement date.
- You choose the commencement date, which can be any day between the 1st and the 28th of any calendar month.
- Monthly savings contributions can be made for up to a maximum of €1000 per applicant per month.
- We regret that we cannot accept cheques/drafts or electronic transfers from an existing Anglo Irish Bank savings account that you may hold with us.
* Please note: closing date for applications for this account is 30th December 2009. Applications must be received by this date to avail of the account.
