Account Communication

  • We will send you written confirmation of your new account number, initial deposit and the applicable interest rate within three business days of opening your account
  • We will confirm any transactions on your account in writing
  • Changes to our interest rates will be advertised in the national press
  • We will send you an annual statement in January of all transactions on your account for the previous year
  • You can ask us for a Certificate of Interest at no charge by calling our Personal Savings Account Team on CallSave 1850 22 22 32, or you can download this on AngloConnect.

Making a Lodgement

As well as providing further personal cheques from your personal current account, you may also make lodgements by cheque/draft or electronic transfer to your account using these two alternatives:

(a) Cheque or Draft

  • Your Bankers cheque/draft should be made payable to the accountholder(s) and marked 'a/c payee only'.
  • If you hold a joint account, cheques/drafts must be made payable to both account holders
  • Post your cheque/draft to our freepost address, or call to any of our branches in Dublin, Cork, Galway or Limerick.

OR

(b) Electronic transfer

  • You can instruct your bank to transfer funds by electronic transfer to your savings account. Please contact our Personal Savings Team on CallSave 1850 22 22 32 and we will give you the relevant details.

Making a Withdrawl

  • Call our Personal Savings Team on CallSave 1850 22 22 32 (8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays).
  • Electronic payments will only be made to your nominated bank account, as per your application form.
  • Cheques will only be made payable to the same name as the account holder.
  • Once we have confirmed your details and your nominated password, the withdrawal request will begin its notice period (if any).
  • Please note that no withdrawal slips are required.
